25+ Goblincore Crochet Patterns
This aesthetic has been all over my Pinterest board lately, and in our YouTube community, a few of you have requested that I share a crochet round-up inspired by this aesthetic and it is Goblincore.
Goblincore is all about finding beauty and inspiration in the wild, weird and imperfect parts of nature. It’s similar to fairycore or cottagecore but more about celebrating the damp, mossy trinkets that are tucked away in the dirt like shiny rocks, acorns, mushrooms and rusty trinkets.
We can embrace it by mixing textures, scraps and different yarn fibers to make our crochet work look raw and earthy. And the color palette is deep mossy greens, muddy browns, rusty oranges, muted neutrals and rich maroons.
You can play with bobby stitches to mimic pebbles, fuzzy yarns that remind you of moss, heavy chunky wools, and lean more toward natural and organic shapes such as crooked lines, and uneven, raw edges.
So in this video, I’ve gathered a collection of Goblincore-inspired crochet patterns that really capture this vibe. I separated them into five different categories: Amigurumi, Accessories, Home Decor, Granny Square and Clothing. And as always, you can find each of the patterns linked on my blog which is in the description box below.
So go ahead and grab a cozy cup of tea, and your current WIP, and let’s get started.
