Ethereal Goth Crochet Patterns

I also loved this Rave Thneed by Ether Knots. This one is multi-purpose garment which is designed to be worn in so many ways including as a scarf, hood, skirt, shawl, top and many more. This one is more intermediate level to make I’d say and the pattern is also made to measure, is a paid pattern on their Ravelry, and is made with dk weight but with a large 15mm hook to achieve that nice lacy effect with the drape. 

 

Walking on Spiderwebs by Stephanie Smith, see the pattern here.

The walking on Spiderwebs Cardigan by Stephanie Smith is also a great one. It’s a paid pattern on their Ravelry, and has sizes Small to 3XL. This one seems confident beginner level as well, and is partially charted, and if fits more like a jacket in the smaller sizes and more like a cardigan or shrug in plus size, and I love the drape of this one as well, it’d be so fun to layer over dresses or tops that you want to give an ethereal tough too.

Next is the Twin Lace Skirt by It was Yarn. This one is free on the hobbii website, and is built around the hip measurement, so you should choose the size that you create based around the hip measurement and there are seven sizes for this one which is really helpful measuring 33 inches to 52 inches. The special stitches are working into the back loop and third loop only,  and this one is more intermediate level. There are two layers which grow from the same waistband and are meant to be one piece, the underskirt also feels really soft and warm against the skin, while the overskirt brings movement to the garment. 

Cloud Shell Sweater by Beautiful Crochet Stuff, see the pattern here. 

The Cloud Shell Sweater by Beautiful Crochet Stuff is also a fun one. This one is also free on the Hobbii website and has sizes Small to 5XL. It’s created with a mix of wool and mohair which gives it that nice ethereal fairy-like texture and the construction is made from simple rectangular panels for the front, back and sleeves with an optional turtleneck to create the perfect fit. This one is ranked intermediate but if you are a confident beginner I would say you can definitely tackle it and I love the lacy yet fluffy texture this piece has, I thought it was really unique.

I also liked this texture message shawl by Yarnspirations. This one is just one size measuring 24 inches wide, and the special stitches are the double crochet back post and front post stitches. This one is free on the website and more intermediate level to create, and I love that this one has pockets and would be a really fun layering piece for sure. 

Lacy Wide Leg Pants by Fosbas Designs, see the pattern here. 

The Lacy Wide Leg Pants pattern by Fosbas Designs is a great one. This one is free on their website, and is beginner friendly with step-by-step instructions and simple stitches to make it. There are sizes XS to 5XL, so it’s size inclusive and the special stitch is the 5 double crochet in the same stitch to create shells. And this one is a paid pattern on their website and I love it in that cream color or even in a burgundy would be nice.

Another lovely pattern is this Zena Top by Nat’s Record. This one is a paid pattern on their Ravelry and is a blouse that features a wide neck silhouette and three-quarter length sleeves. It begins by working in the round, bottom up with waist shaping along the body of the top. After the body section is complete, the bust and back are worked up together then separate to work up the straps. Sleeves are worked in the round along the arm holes, and the pattern is more intermediate level to make. Also this pattern is made to measure and I liked the details on this one as well and the knit-like look that it has.

Mesh Belle Beanie by It was Yarn, see the pattern here. 

First is this mesh belle beanie by It was Yarn. This one is intermediate level and can be whipped up quite quickly. It is an airy lace hat that gently spirals around the head and is finished off with soft scalloped edging that gives it a light and graceful feel. And this one has two different sizes which is nice, and his one would be fun to play with the colors, I’d love it especially in black or deep red. 

 

Bless Bonnet by luvinthephysicalform, see the pattern here. 

Next is another lacy headpiece with the bless bonnet by luvinthephysicalform. It’s made in one piece and begins at the back of the head and then is worked in the round to make the flower on the back of the bonnet. Then you work flat to crochet the rows of petals toward the front forehead part of the bonnet. The long bonnet ties are crochet towards the end. And this one is one size fits all at 56 cm circumference and is a paid pattern on Ribblr. And I loved how lacy and regal this one is. 

 

Pining for Winter by Me and My Yarn, see the pattern here. 

This next one is the pining for winter shawl by Me and my Yarn. The special stitches are the front post double and triple crochet, and back post triple crochet as well as the picot. It measures 61 inches by 32 inches and is a decorative and fun shawl for the more experienced crocheter. It’s made with Scandinavian design with a delicate pineapple patterned lace edge and is made in three different sections to make. It’s more experienced level to make, is free on the hobbii website, and is one size measuring 61 inches wide by 32 inches long, and I love that pineapple stitch detailing on the edges. 

 

Icy Thistle Fingerless Gloves by K.A.M.E. Crochet, see the pattern here. 

Another one is the Icy Thistle Fingerless Gloves by KAME Crochet. This one is more intermediate level to make and is a gorgeous, feminine fingerless glove that works up quite fast, there is not a chart or diagram for this one, but there are several links to Youtube videos sharing how to complete certain stitches in the pattern, it’s a paid pattern on their ribblr, and this one would be perfect to make and wear with lots of stackable jewelry and layer with for Fall. 

 

Veil Shawl by It Was Yarn, see the pattern here.

Or make the Veil Shawl by It was Yarn. It measures 21 inches from the neck along the back, and it combines silk, mohair and sparkle from sequins to create such a light and airy open lace pattern that drapes nicely. It’s perfect for slightly cooler weather and is free on the hobbii website, as well as more intermediate to make. The special stitches are the front post double crochet and back post double crochet as well as the front post double crochet 3 together, v stitch and tall v stitch, chainless starting double and starting treble crochet and create it you start at the center upper edge, then work the rows back and forth until you create a soft semi-circular shape that flows outward and downward. And I just loved the movement with this piece. 

 

King's Cross Scarf by Jen Lucas, see the pattern here. 

I also liked the King’s Cross Scarf by Jen Lucas. This pattern measures 9 inches in width and 36 inches in length before seaming. It’s a paid pattern in their Ravelry, and definitely seems beginner friendly, and I love the choice of color with the yarn on this one and feel it would work up quite quickly in a couple of crafting sessions.

Next is the Ethereal Scarf by Part Pixy. This one comes with complete photo tutorials showing each step of the design. This is for intermediate to advanced level crocheters. It’s a paid pattern on their Ravelry, and I love how ruffly and lacy this pattern is and you could even make it longer if you want it to be a bit warmer and functional but it’s certainly a stylish piece.

First is the Skull Blanket by Alternative Mosaic. This pattern is a paid pattern on Ravelry, and more intermediate level to make. It measures about 50 by 63 inches and is more advanced as it’s a bit more involved to make sit requires the overlay mosaic technique, special stitches on this one is the single crochet in the back loop only and double crochet in the front loop only and this one is more of an intense project but would definitely be worth it.

Another great pattern is the celestial motif runner by Chez Pascale Designs. This one is beginner friendly and free on their website, and to make it you make the motif in four rounds and sew them all together, and for theirs they connect 12 motifs on each side and 11 inches the middle and staggered them, and you can add as little or many as you like to make it longer or shorter with this one. 

 

Spiral Lace Doily by Crochet for You Blog, see the pattern here. 

I also liked the spiral lace doily by Crochet for You, it measures 10 inches in diameter and was made in 9 rounds with edging to finish it off. It’s free on their website and there is also a YouTube video tutorial to make it which is helpful. 

Goth Garden Bundle, see the pattern here. 

Next is the Goth Garden Bouquet by Kootsiko, and it’s more confident beginner friendly to make and It includes a narcissus, poppies and twisting branch of tiny daffodils, and is a paid pattern on their Etsy and is more advanced beginner level to make. 

 

Thou Art Not the Vibe by Hooked Alchemist, see the pattern here. 

Next is the Thou Art Not The Vibe by Hooked Alchemist. It’s an intermediate-level paid pattern on their Etsy, and includes a chart and uses the corner two corner method, and I really loved the font on this one and it would be great in a little reading nook.
